What’s that bike doing in my store?
The door chimes. In walks a customer, bicycle in tow. “That thing’s dirty, and it’ll mess up my walls,” you think. They pick up a basket, grab a couple items, and check out.
Maybe they were in a hurry. Or perhaps there was nowhere for them to lock up outside. If this person didn’t have a place to park their bike, how many more potential customers didn’t stop because they were too polite to bring their bike in?
Each car parking space can comfortably fit ten bicycles locked to a rack. As riding gets more popular, make sure you provide ample parking for people on bikes.
